Frequently Asked Questions

What is a track?

Tracks are designed to help you develop your well‑being skills for specific life situations. Each track has four parts that guide you through fun, science-based activities designed by experts.

What does S.T.A.G.E.R mean?

S.T.A.G.E.R represents the 6 essential well‑being skills that you’ll develop as you complete the Twill Therapeutics activities in your track: Savor, Thank, Aspire, Give, Empathize, and Revive. We combed through the body of positive psychology, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy research and hundreds of scientific articles as we built these exercises, so every activity is accompanied by a “Why it Works” link that cites sources on how it benefits you.

Savoring is our ability to be mindful and enjoy the moment. Thank is all about having a grateful outlook on our lives. Aspire encompasses having a sense of purpose and being optimistic about the future. Give is the practice of being kind and giving towards others. Empathize is the ability to understand the emotions, behaviors, or ideas of others. Revive focuses on developing healthy eating, exercising, and sleep habits.

How do I earn medals?

In Part 1 of your track, complete at least four activities to earn a silver medal, and complete at least six activities to earn a gold medal.

In Part 2 of your track, complete six activities for a gold medal and five activities for a silver medal. In Parts 3 & 4, complete eight activities for a gold medal and seven activities for a silver medal. If you choose to extend your track after the time limit, you’ll still be eligible for a silver medal. View your Track progress at any time by clicking the medal icon near the top right of the “Today” page.

Behavioral research shows that we’re more likely to achieve our goals if we break them up into small, more manageable pieces. The tracks on Twill Therapeutics consist of four parts each with their own deadlines to help keep you motivated as you make progress in your track. You have one week to complete your activities in any given track part on the “Today” page, and you’ll see a progress bar on top of the page that lets you know how many days you have remaining. Don’t worry, you’ll always have the option to extend your track part if you run out of time!

I finished all the activities for the day, but the new ones won't unlock. Is there a problem?

Your next track activities will unlock within a day. We love that you’re eager to complete activities, but pacing yourself is an important part of the process. If you want to keep working on any of your six well‑being skills, head over to the Explore section where you can find more activities, games, and meditations to practice at any time.

Who can view my activity posts?

It’s up to you! Adjust your privacy options via your Settings. Tap your profile icon on the top right of the screen, click on Menu, then tap on the gear icon and click on Privacy. There are three Privacy modes: First, select Community if you’d like to receive comments and encouragement from other members, second is Private if you prefer to keep your activities totally private, and third is Custom where you can stay involved in the community, but want to keep certain posts to yourself. You can select who can view the post before you hit the “Done” button at the end of each activity you complete. Tap the switch right above the button to make that post only visible to you.

Can I remove or edit a completed activity post?

Unfortunately, at this time, there isn't a way to erase an entire activity that you’ve completed. You can, however, edit the post. Just log in to your account and go to the post via your Profile page. Tap your profile icon on the top right of the screen, click on “Posts.” Select the post you want to change, tap the three dots and select Edit Post. From there, either alter the text or erase it completely.

What is a happiness score?

Twill Therapeutics uses questionnaires to track your progress. You’ll have the opportunity to take the assessments every two weeks. If your scores aren’t where you’d hope they’d be right now, keep at it. You should see improvement in your score over time when you keep using Twill Therapeutics.

What browsers and operating systems do you support?

Twill Therapeutics is compatible with Internet Explorer 9 and up, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. We are also compatible with all Mac OS and versions of Windows except Vista. Our app is also available on iPhone and Android devices. If you're having issues during your Twill Therapeutics experience, please email support@therapeutics.twill.health.

I really enjoyed the games in my track! Can I do it again right now?

You sure can. Just go to the Explore section on the navigation menu. You'll see all of our interactive activities and games available to play at your leisure, as well as a small selection of skill activities you've already completed in your track.

My game isn't loading. Help!

If you're experiencing problems with any of our games, just send an email to support@therapeutics.twill.health and we'll help you out. In your email make sure you tell us what browser version you're using (Internet Explorer 11, Firefox, Chrome etc.) and what operating system you have (i.e. Windows 7, Mac 10.7 etc.), or if you're using our mobile iPhone or Android app.

I can’t hear any sound! What’s the deal?

Double check that your phone doesn’t have the vibrate switch on. If your phone is on vibrate, you won’t be able to hear any sounds across the games or the guided meditation tracks.

I want to play Uplift, but it’s a little too fast. Can I slow it down?

Yes! There is a “casual mode” that might be more relaxing for you. Arcade mode is available for those who find Uplift too easy and want more of a challenge. Choose the mode you prefer on the intro screen of the game.

Can I change what type of audio I hear in my Serenity Scene session?

Definitely! On the scene selection screen you can choose from ambient nature sounds, a guided narration that will lead you through the activity, or both. Hit the Start button once you've made your selection. During your session, you can turn off the narration by tapping the person icon or choose to not use sound at all and just savor the beautiful scene.

Can I change the length of my Serenity Scene session?

Yes, you can adjust your session time depending on how much or how little time you have. On the customization screen, look for the "Time" icon on the bottom toolbar and choose a 2-, 5- or 10-minute session.

How does Negative Knockout work? What's the key to knocking out the negatives with the skill balls?

To begin the game, choose 3 to 5 negative words from the Start screen or type in your own. The word that you choose can be anything that's bugging you in your life right now. Once you choose your negative words, the Start button below will turn orange, signifying the start of the game. Your goal is to knock down all of the negative words on the structure. Do this by using the slingshot to launch the skill balls directly at the structure, which causes various parts to collapse. One of the balls will automatically pop itself into place in the slingshot. To aim using a computer, click on the ball with your mouse and drag it back without letting go. On a mobile device, use your finger. The further back you go, the more power you'll have behind it, and you can also drag the ball up and down to aim the ball so it hits your desired spot. When you're ready to launch, lift your finger off and watch it fly! You have six chances to knock out all of the negative thoughts.

How do I delete my account?

If you want to delete your account, go to the Settings page. Once you've reached the Settings screen, scroll to the bottom where you'll see a "Delete Account" button. After confirming you'd like to delete your account, your request will be processed in 1-3 business days.

I lost/forgot my password. Help!

You can reset your password by heading to the Twill Therapeutics login page. Look for the "Forgot Password" link by the Log In button. After entering your email address, you should receive an email to reset your password shortly after. If you do not receive the reset email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder. Still can't find it? Contact support@therapeutics.twill.health.

Is there an option to unsubscribe from emails?

You can change your email settings at any time by clicking the gray Menu icon at the top right of the screen, go to "Settings" (you can also access it directly at settings) then click on “Notifications.” If you want to filter by receiving comments, follows/likes, and more, just click on the buttons. Don't want to receive emails from Twill Therapeutics? Simply click turn off the “All Emails” button. Remember to click the orange "Save" button to confirm your settings!
